Hot weather hurts us in more ways than we might realise.


We are going to experience hotter summers and colder winters - more frequently. We will all see more days over 35 degrees as a matter of course.

With increasing ambient temperature Electric Vehicles are going to have shorter ranges - meaning that the assumptions being currently made on the supporting infrastructure are going to be wrong. The electrical feeders to the charging stations will be also affected, limiting the speed at which you may charge your vehicle.

This is not speculation, and these are not unknown effects. As we've seen with many major infrastructure projects in the past two years, ignoring the effect of the changing climate will cost money, and too many delays will reduce public trust.
